Broken Hill - The Capital of The Outback
If you ever come to Australia you gotta see the Outback. Not many people can afford going to Alice Springs to see the red sand and the beautiful Uluru so if you don’t want to spend too much money on flights go to Broken Hill instead.
Broken Hill is just on the edge of the NSW Outback and is Australia’s longest lived mining city. It’s about 1200km far from Sydney… yeah I know… long drive, but it’s worth it. Experienced drivers would be able to make it in 15 hours.

Port Stephens - The Dolphin Capitol of Australia
Port Stephens is called the ‘Dolphin Capitol of Australia’ as it is home to around 150 bottlenose dolphins. It’s relatively close to Sydney (2.5 hours drive) and is good for either spending a relaxing weekend there or doing something more active.
If you have only one day to explore the area you should go to the north side of the bay (Hawks Nest / Tea Gardens) or south (Nelson Bay). Whatever you chose I’m sure you’ll have a good time. Read the rest of this entry »
Phillip Island - Penguin Parade and many more
If you ever go to Melbourne, Australia you should spend a whole day at Phillip Island too. It’s only one and a half hours drive from the city and within a day you can discover the whole island, see beautiful animals, get closer to nature.
